Ashley started fly fish guiding and instructing on the Youghiogheny River in 2014. Since then, she has taught many introduction to fly fishing courses and women’s fly fishing courses. She has been a volunteer for Casting for Recovery Western Pennsylvania since 2014 and has helped with various Project Healing Water outings. She was awarded the Leon Chandler Award at the Rivers Conservation and Fly Fishing Youth Camp in 2008 and was honored with the Behnke Award in 2019.

Description

Ashley started fly fish guiding and instructing on the Youghiogheny River in 2014. Since then, she has taught many introduction to fly fishing courses and women’s fly fishing courses. She is a PA Fish & Boat Commission Fishing Skills Instructor, teaches fly fishing at the Bellefonte, PA YMCA and has completed the NOLS Wilderness First Aid Training. She is currently a member of the USA Women’s Fly Fishing Team.
