Description
This is 8 inch (20 cm) length of highly visible fl yellow 8lb monofilament with three fl red, one black and three fl yellow resin drops spaced in the center at half inch intervals. It is very sensitive indicator for czech nymphing, french nymphing and any light nymphing application.
Connect the indicator between your flies and leader using the two tippet rings. At first glance you might wonder how you can possibly see the tiny drops and the leader, especially when compared to the bulky foam indicators. But it stands very well in a wide range of conditions from bright sunshine to cloudy overcast skies. The advantage of this exceptional indicator is that it is lightweight, easy to use, very streamline and will not spoke the fish. Drops indicators had been invented by the Czech competition fly fishermen.

A friend gave my first one of these and after almost a year of use with no issues (break-offs etc) I lost the battle with a tree and had to purchase replacements. The newest iteration seems to be using the stamped lower quality tippet rings as the connection point and I have had multiple break-offs and total loss of one of the sighters. All in the same circumstances and settings as he initial model performed flawlessly. I still recommend this product just be prepared for some additional loss of flies and fish if you are using 5x and 6x tippet below the sighter.
