Troutline Tactical Partridge Hares Ear Nymph
We consider this nymph a hybrid between an emerger and nymph stage. The Partridge hares ear and hackle gives the fly a lot of mobility and “life like” appearance. For this reason this pattern is highly efficient in Spring and in Summer when a lot of insects are going from nymph stage to adult stage. Because the body is made of dubbing (in fact a mixed between guard hair from hare and from squirrel) in different tones and shades, the fly is a perfect searching nymph because it imitate a wide range of insects in the same time.
We really love this fly and we highly recommend it! Gold tungsten bead paired with a barbless nymph hook!
