X-Caddis

Description

The X Caddis was created by Craig Matthews of Blue Ribbon Flies, and has become one of the most effective dry flies in the West. Craig developed this pattern in order to imitate the freshly emerged adult still struggling to escape its nymphal shuck, and is one of our go-to’s during a caddis emergence. Our variations are all tied on barbless hooks with the finest materials.
