These hare tanned pelts from Lucian Vasies of Troutline come from wild and remote parts of Romania. Known throughout the entire Eastern Europe region for quality hare skin and hair due to the heavy Winters in Romania. In these situations, our wild hares have a very rich fur to resist to Romania’s cold Winters were -25 Celsius degrees are common. For this reason we sell only skins received from our local hunters. Our Hare Pelts are checked and tanned and carefully cut to offer the best parts to all our fly tying friends
