George Daniel

George’s true passion is in fly fishing education. He appears at clubs and fly fishing shows around the country, where he conducts lectures and seminars. He also logs more than 280 days a year on trout waters near and far. George and his wife Amidea bought and restored an old home near his favorite trout stream, and it is here where they spend many hours with their two children walking along the banks, throwing stones and sometimes even catching a fish.

George is not only the author of two highly regarded and best selling books, he has also published articles in Fly Fisherman, American Angler and Fly Tyer magazines. George is a pro-staffer for a number of fly fishing companies including Orvis, Tacky Fly Boxes, FlyCraft Boats, Regal Vises, Competitive Angler Tying Supplies, Golden Trout Lanyards, and Loon. George is a fly designer and brand ambassador for Holly Flies.

Pat Weiss

Pat grew up in East Hickory, in northwestern Pennsylvania, and currently resides with his wife, Karen, in Centre Hall near the Keystone State’s wild trout havens of Penns, Fishing and Spring Creeks. He graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Environmental Resource Management with an emphasis on midge fishing at Fisherman’s Paradise. Pat is entering his fourth year of competitive fly-fishing and is addicted to the challenges it provides.

Josh Miller

Born and raised in Pittsburgh Pa, Josh attended his first Tying class at the age of 10. He grew up fishing the cold streams of Pennsylvania, but now loves fishing the mountains coast to coast. Josh enjoys teaching fly tying classes and techniques at local fly shops or on the water.
He started competing a few years ago, and is a member of Team Freestone.

Patrick Clark

Patrick was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa. He grew up fishing in the mountains of Central Pa and later the steelhead runs of the Great Lakes. After a move to Atlanta, Ga, Patrick became active in fly fishing competitions and in the TroutLegend League where he is a member of The North Carolina Fly Fishing Team. In 2013 he finished in the top 25 of the league and in 2014 finished in the top 5. Notable competition finishes include 1st at the 2012 Gold Cup, 4th at the CNY Classic in 2014 and 2nd in 2015, 2nd at the 2014 Smokey Mountain Showdown, 3rd at the 2014 Troutlegend National Championship, 4th at Casting For Hope Spruce Pine and 1st at Casting For Hope Cherokee in 2015. Clark has served as Director of the Troutlegend League and is currently a member of the Rules Committee.

Patrick Fulkrod

Patrick is a local to Bristol and has been fly fishing since age ten. 2016 will represent Patrick’s 10th year guiding. Patrick brings a lineup of credentials and accomplishments to his resume including national recognition as the 2014 Orvis Endorsed Guide of the Year. Patrick was also recognized as a 2012, 2013, and 2015 Orvis Endorsed Guide of the Year Finalist, 2007 Graduate of the Western Rivers Professional Guide School, Orvis-Endorsed Fly-Fishing Guide since 2007, and a Clackacraft Drift Boat’s Pro Staff Member. Patrick’s favorite method to catch a trout is on a #20 midge.
